The following is a list of group fitness classes taught by Maria Teman Ward. Maria has been involved in the health - fitness industry since 1992, having studied Basic Fitness and Strength and Conditioning under Tony Abbott. She completed her Yoga Teacher Training at The Yoga Center in Deerfield Beach with Joanne Evans in 1996 and has been attending workshops, taking classes and undertaking self-study even since. She is currently a Nesta certified Group Exercise Instructor and Personal Trainer. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Studies and a Master's Degree in Information Technology. After many years of working in an office, she left the corporate environment to follow her passion and now enjoys sharing health and fitness tips to people from a wide variety of backgrounds. All of the following classes are mixed level classes that will be tailored to the students who attend them and are appropriate for beginners and challenging enough for advanced students.
