Happy Lady

Sir Issac Newton’s first law of motion states that bodies in motion tend to stay in motion and that bodies at rest tend to stay at rest, unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.

Is your body at rest or is it in motion?

In order to live well, we need to move our bodies. Getting up from the couch to walk to the kitchen does not count as moving your body, but a wellness routine does not have to entail training for a triathlon either.  You do have to find an activity that you enjoy and just do it! A balanced fitness routine should include cardiovascular exercises, strength training through a functional range of motion for your body, as well as maintaining or improving joint mobility, muscle flexibility and, of course, balance.

Sometimes we just need a little bit of help to get into motion.
